Isn’t the perspective just wrong here? Eyes aren’t aligned with the snout. How common are errors like this in professional animation?
>>8019108it literally does not matter
>>8019108>How common are errors like this in professional animation?Very common and most Animators don't give a f*ck about it.If you had to draw thousands of times just for a few seconds of animation, and you got paid peanuts for it, I doubt that you would give a shit either.>Read ahead if you're an illustratorArtists like OP often forget that animators have both drawing and animation skills, they're hybrids, not pure illustrators, you don't even need drawing skills to be an animator, just use 3D models or puppets.>Read more if you're still not convinced It's the same for comic artists, they're more worried about telling a story visually than making sure their art is pretty and correct, there's plenty of comics with terrible art all around the world and they're still called comics, manga, manhwa, manhua, webtoon, strip, comic, funnies, etc despite the bad art.
not an error if it looks good >you don't even need drawing skills to be an animator, just use 3D models or puppets.i fucking love this board

sometimes one can just cheat the perspectiveespecially drawing a cartoon dinosaur
>>8019248Cartoon dinosaurs are VERY important
>>8019108It's hard to say whether this is or is not in correct perspective from this single image. First, we can't assume this character's features are perfectly level. Second, you seem to be basing the bottom line on where the edges of his tooth meets his lips. This is not appropriate, since the mouth changes shape and angles constantly. Even the entire muzzle can twist and move in a cartoon. You do not use soft bodies as landmarks.
