How do you pick a name to represent your work as someone who was an anonymous loner type figure for all of their internet career?
In the modern day everything is going to be tied back to your first public appearance with your art so you need to make a good choice from the outset.

I picked an Asian one, so people don't mistake me for the Westerner that I am.

Larpercore stalling nodraw question on par with "What should my logo be?"
>>

Just grab some bullshit pun, add your birth year, the numbers 69, probably add 67 for modern tastes, and add some random glyph symbols like %^*_$#+-, and there you go.
So something like:
>__**67~~69_BigGirthyPen1997_69~~67**__
Just rolls off the tongue, no?

Reddit tier objection. Changing a name has much more consequences for an artist especially if you want to be public with it.

Go with a Japanese artist type name which is extra anonymous. Like user___052246544.

Summon a demon and have them suggest the most fitting one for you (they are able to look through all of your 12 d[i/e]m[e/o]nsions and therefore have more knowledge about you than yourself)

On a related note, is it beneficial to have any particular country in your account info on twitter? Is the United States good to maximize anonymity and allow for a lot of possibilities for your background?
>>
Your new name is now Naruto1984xD. Good luck and go forth.

i use soijak meme names like chud, chad, or cobson
>>
>>8023563
I would use cobson unironically if the handle was free. Sounds like an actual name.

ok xD

I chose names like HondaCivic2017 and AppleWatch11, so every time I nuke an account and start over, the name is so generic that people struggle to find my old stuff.
>>
>>8019694
I used to buy accounts back in the day and sometimes I'd take over their moniker or use it as inspiration
Sure, most of the time I wasn't doing anything that would warrant someone trying to backtrace me, but the few times it happened they came back with details from some poor random soul

I posted drawings on 4chan for six months, one day I found some guy uploaded some of it on Rule34 and thought the random scribble I use as a signature was a really badly written name.

Somehow it was also still available on Twitter so it's really my name now I guess.
>>
>>8019694
post your art and we'll name you
>>
A tv reference that's also obscure enough.

Example, spacecoyote.

Bump, please sirs I need it soon.
What do you guys think of
>underscore + adjective + noun
but it's from a based JRPG video game.

2-3 letters followed by 4-7 numbers

I chose my current artist name many years ago without giving it much thought. At the time, I was reading about mythology, so I chose the first cool-sounding name related to an interesting god. I regret that decision now. If you Google my name, you'll find information about that god, a metal band, and a foreign political conspiracy. You won't find any of my web pages or drawings.
If I could change my nickname, I'd choose a misspelled word. Even better if you aren't American because then you can use a misspelled foreign word.
For example, if you are Italian and like music, you could use a misspelled version of the Italian word for "guitar": "Zhitarra" or "Chitalla", instead of "Chitarra."
>>
>>8029663
Noone answered but this probably works I suggest personally using a word that evokes an emotion, then numbers
Your idea seems fine
>>
>>8019694
Da Vinki
>>
>>8029663
I think it's a bad idea.
A username needs to be short, ideally one or two words, easy to spell and not be nonsense.
Just get a word you like, character, fetish... And write it as if it were spoken by a jap, like Andrew Loomis = Andoru Rumisu or something.
>>
>>8029663
If you still want ideas, mine the letter from the word love plus the first name of a character I like rearranged into a believable name.
Not recommended if you're low iq
>>
id tell you bcos thats literally me too, but i dont want you to steal my flow kek
>>
Cool adjective + your favorite dessert/beverage
>VitriolicCoffe
>ThunderFlan
