Do you guys think this is AI art? The guy posts stuff like this 2-3 times a day and calls himself "hobbyist artist". Alzandah is the username. He's copying Yoji Shinkawa's style, but you don't even see Shinkawa put out as many drawings a day than this guy does.
>>
at this point, yes, might as well be
death to social media
>>
>>8025611
Basically just assume that anyone who doesn't have at least one real time process video posted is AI. You need to see proof they can draw
>>
>>8025616
you can fake those too

Timelapses can be faked. There was a video showing someone doing just that. This timelapse also looks sus.
>>
He asks $60 for a full art drawing.
>>
>>8025611
that looks nothing like shinkawa, and even if it's not ai, it's 30% filters
>>
One way to tell is if they have a timeline of works at varying skill levels leading up to the final works. Every artist stumbles as they refine their style/skills. Does he have any of his previous works posted, or are all his posts of this skill level, and only within the past year or so? Or is it /beg/, then suddenly spikes up coincidentally with advent of AI?
>>

>>8025619
That’s a timelapse, by “real time”, I meant a whole ass hour+ video where you physically see them make each stroke, no one is faking that

>>
>>8025634
That is STILL sped up, are you ESL? Do you not understand what “real time” means?
>>
>>8025634
can you fake that? seems like faking it would be harder than learning to actually draw.
>>
>>8025634
looks real, pack it in haters, sometimes people are just more talented than you
>>
>>8025634
nice
>>
>>8025636
what difference does it make? even if he had an ai reference accurately copying from hand-eye would be harder than just drawing it. is there some magic ai art/video editing trickery that i dont know about?
>>
>>8025644
We’re talking about AI’s ability to generate process videos.
AI video has gotten really good but I don’t think it can fake someone actually drawing a whole piece over a long period of time.
>>
>>8025645
it can do that? it looks like a pretty legit video, i dont think ai video generation is that good yet. you got an example of a ai timelapse?
>>
>>8025634
It seems he uses the same thin pen for the whole drawing which is really fucking weird. Even for the large black parts.
>>
>>8025649
he switches pens a few times, you can see the brush tip when he is filling
>>
>>8025648
Honestly I haven’t kept up much with AI video but it is really scary good now.

Anyway I’m pretty sure that even the best AI today isn’t going to fake this https://www.youtube.com/live/LCo_hy2cbuw?is=lYblX9oA52Kb8tvL or at least it’s not going to fake it on any reasonable budget. An entire 1 hour 45 minute process video at 1x speed. Start to finish on a single piece. This is the standard for proving you’re not AI imo
>>
>>8025656
>its scary good now
kinda. i think if it were able to generate videos like that timelapse we would have bigger issues, it still isnt fully convincing with small details and requires lots of cuts in short periods, especially for something as complex as a real time art timelapse. it still lacks consistency i think its possible artists have started training ai on their own art and are doing a few timelapses to "prove it," then just hustling illustrations for cheap and undercutting the market. its possible for this guy since his price is so low, but being able to draw well pen on paper without an underdrawing means that maybe he is just that good and can afford to charge peanuts.
>>
I’m not a troll. And I think AI is losing.

But you guys are kinda naive. Those instathots and onlyfans models have mixed real and AI content for a while now. It would be even easier to do it with art. Yeah, he can draw. Yeah, he posted the 3 hour-long drawing videos. But it doesn’t prove his account is not a mix of AI, and real thing, and AI-traced illustrations.
>>
>>8025670
At this point who cares, what can you even do about that?

AI tracers and photobashers are just the norm now.
>>
>>8025670
That’s true, smart/mixed use of AI is basically undetectable. That sucks but that’s the world we live in. But we can still tell the difference between people who at least know how to draw, vs accounts run by non-artists that literally just post AI output and that’s it.
>>
>>8025611
If an artist doesn't have some bare sketches out there then that makes them suspect for AI.

Some AI artists will post a line-drawing of the illustration alongside the "finished" work but that ironically makes them look even more suspicious, because that's the only line-work they ever post. You can trace some AIslop easy and pass it off as linework
>>
>>8025611
it's all AI now, have the slop machine do the heavy lifting, then brush over it with oil, acrylic, or water color, some filters, voila, I made it type shit.

it's all bullshit now
>>
>>8025611
I dont know. I don't like it tho.
>>
>>8025826
thats way too much work for sloppers, they aint moving past digital

if its not on canvas or paper its Ai or digital slop
>>
>>8026207
How do you feel about AIslop that is traced or copied to trad?
>>
>>8026210
tracing and copying isnt necessarily easy, especially for oils or pen and ink. you may aswell learn to draw/paint atp.
>>
remember
aitrooners try to pass their shit as real art because everyone clicks off when its ai since not only is it mediocre, it's also sloppier than slop
they believe everyone is a shallow, uncultured and tasteless as them
if it wasn't for these piggers, we could have actual AI that boosted the arts, not trying to replace it
>>
>>need a 2 hour unedited 4k bodycam footage with a notary public stamp just to decide if an image is allowed to look cool
>>entire board has devolved from art critique into TSA agents inspecting pen strokes

look at the absolute state of this thread. you guys are having a collective psychotic breakdown over whether a guy drawing in shinkawa's style is using AI, tracing, or photobashing, because your eyes literally cannot tell the diffrence without doing forensic analysis on his instagram reels.

if the drawing delivers the ink aesthetic, strong silhouette, and visual impact, it works. the artifact survives on its own.

if you need to see a man physically suffer for 3 hours on camera before you permit yourself to enjoy a peice of visual data, you don't care about art, you just have a fetish for labor receipts. you're not judging the drawing, you're judging the narrative of how much the artist's back hurt while making it.

if the result is good, who gives a fuck how many shortcuts he took? either the image works on your screen or it doesn't. stop obsessing over the author's pedigree and look at the damn pixels.
>>
>>8026219
>print/project picture on canvas
>mix and literally match color to the one on the screen
>not easy
>>
>>8026967
if it didn't matter then they wouldn't lie about it
>>
>>8026978
its like photobashing atp. if you can go through all that effort, do all the bullshit, and make it look good and convincing, then go for it, idgaf. i am yet to see a physical artpiece that does what you describe that looks good, let alone a photobashed one or a paint over, or a trace of a picture, and those technologies have been around forever. retarded ass shills like you dont realize art is bullshit, always has been always will be. if you can bullshit better than other people, then go for it, but i guarantee you ai sloppers wont even get close to an amateur artist using the retarded method you describe. you have better odds duct taping fruit to walls. you lost the game cause you dont even understand what it is.

You're going to want to strip that query string from youtube share urls, CaptainThunderGX
