>>8030803my critique? 2025 drawing is more technically impressive but so visually busy that the important details of the character (clothing and face) have been lost in a sea of fabric folds and hair strands. i'll admit that the pose is far more fluid, but i can gauge the character's princely smug aura better from the 2022 version.one of the main rules of cartooning (as in, newspaper style cartooning), is that the less details you have in a drawing, the more impactful each detail is.i have a suspicion that you photoshopped the background out of the 2025 version to present the character, but if there's a complex scene and this individual is not the sole focal point, then i would say you are selectively misrepresenting the artist's work either intentionally or unintentionally.
