how do you get rich as a digital artist? im talking millions
>>
>>
>>8031721
Of all the recurring thread topics we have here, this is one of the most bizarre.
Out of all the things you could do to try to get rich, art is one of the worst. Making a ton of money from art is just not a reasonable expectation at all
>>
money laundering for the chinese government
>>
>>8031818
there is plenty of chinese artists for the ccp to extort, they dont need you
>>

Make a proko-like platform?
>>
Be the artist who draws a very specific fetish and hope a very rich person wants to become your best friend.

>2 000 000
Assume the lowest amount we can call "millions".
Let's say yearly.
>commision
Commission is unrealistic. Even if you charge hundreds, or even 1 000+ per commission.
This is an arithmetic problem. Work it out yourself. That's why education is really important.
>(indie) video game art
Even if you somehow get revenue sharing, think the typical price of indie games. $1-$20. Again, arithmetic problem. Assume 50%+ cut for taxes and other fees. Then, from what's left 10s of percent goes to you ideally.
Calculate if it's realistic.
>digital instructional book/videos/course
Can you even be considered as digital artist doing this? "Grifter" is more appropriate. Typical prices I've seen on gumroad from famous artists are $10-$30. Again, it's an arithmetic problem.
>online interactive live classes with grading and commentaries
You can check the typical prices. Assume $200+, assume 10-30 students, assume 1-3 months long. Work it out yourself.
>patreon
When people still published their numbers, the ones I saw are around 10s of thousands of dollars at best. You need to see the typical number of paid patrons for top creators. I honestly think less than 5 patreon even make the kind of money you want. And they don't do art.
>youtube+streaming+reels+shorts
Come on.
>pro work (licensing, advertising, video games, book illustration, tv, movie, etc.)
Come on.
>make succesful indie game as solodev
Most realistic. And still unrealistic. You also need to learn about programming, music, writing, and other BS. Very very very few made millions. Even successful famous ones you've heard. Again, price is typically $1-$20. Ignoring fees and taxes, you need to sell 100 000 - 2 000 000 copies depending on the price to reach $2 000 000. Google how many actually even reach that number lol.

Let's be real you most likely not even make enough money from (digital) art to live modestly lol. Let alone millions.

What's the best then, anon?

Speak for yourself, I’m going to become rich from my art. If you haven’t talent, you can easily become rich from your work. Picasso was rich and so was Kim Jung Gi.

This made me realize those (webapp) startups don't make much sense either, financially. They also typically charge around $10 monthly. And offer free version. While more than $100,000 yearly to each employee. Not to mention the infrastructure and server cost.

after they ge going, they average millions of users throughout any one year, investors take the initial financial burden, just like the guy above used yearly income to paint a strawman, you are not as good at arithmetic as you think you are.
>>
>>8031871
>they average millions of users
Ah yes, millions of paying users for yet another to do list app, yet another productivity app, yet another fitness and diet app, yet another AI agent nonsense app, yet another second brain app.
Yeah, sure. Millions of users.
You’re kinda dumb, huh?

Assuming we’re excluding illegal methods, anything related to business or finance. That could also include starting your own business that doesn’t technically have anything to do with finance (e.g. a tech company)

as a third worlder how do i make atleast a minimum of $3 per week from commissions?
>>
>>8031893
keep exposing how retarded you are
>>
>>8031917
