Why isn't there a stand with enough room to let you slide a keyboard beneath it for convenience? Most artists have gut-wrenching desk setups where their keyboards are awkwardly to the side or like 2-3 feet above the desk on top of their stand or something
>>8034693I modified my wooden desk easel so I can slide my keyboard under it and keep the easel on my desk permanently but I dont use it with the keyboard under it. It's way more awkward than having the keyboard off to the side. Best setup I had was using a nintendo joycon but that died and didn't have quite as many buttons as i'd like. I suppose one of those gaming keypads would also be an upgrade.
Thoughts on using one of these as a makeshift tablet stand on top of a desk?>>8034710I'm not autistic nor smart enough to engineer my own diy chimerical contraption of a tool for artistic purposes, but it can't be that awkward having your keyboard under your tablet could it?>joyconwat
doesn't this kind of just elevate the tablet to a painful height
>>8034693they wanna sell you an overpriced shortcut device instead.i just put a smaller keyboard behind the tablet, while the tablet itself is on a monitor arm. works fine.
>>8034693Just get a monitor riser like these chingchong ones and plop your tablet on top of it. Find something like 80mm-150mm or whatever the height that's more comfortable for you to draw at. And measure the length fits your keyboard too
>>8034835I had picrel for over 5 years and it was pretty great, probably one of those most worthwhile purchase I've had. Then it died last month, and I'm now using more applications than just CSP or Photoshop and also drawing on my iPad when I'm travelling. So nowadays I'm using Tourbox. Pretty great so far. Pretty bloody expensive too but it's quite.. enjoyable to use lol. 3 dials with multiple subcommands. Wish it has a bit more face buttons tho.
>>8034693there are plentylook harder

>>8034727>I'm not autistic nor smart enough to engineer my own diy chimerical contraption of a tool for artistic purposesI mean i basically just attacked it with a circular saw and wood glue.>joyconthe controllers for the nintendo switch. bootleg ones. Pretty good for the price.
>>8034693Stop being a pleb and get a split ergo keyboard
>>8034693I bought that Wacom keyboard extension to put on top of the Cintiq Pro but the protrusion at the bottom that's supposed to support the keyboard is too tiny and my keyboards just slide right off (and risk scratching the screen)
>>8034693because it's fucking stupid and you'd be crossing your arms to use half the keyboardkeyboards belong on the left
>>8034835Just put the tablet on a monitor arm. Keyboard can stay in the same spot on the desk with zero issues. My 16" tablet can sit under my dual 27" monitors and I swing it out when I want to draw.
