Going through Fun With a Pencil, and this shit makes me realize how insecure/scared I am of messing anything up. Whenever I drew something as a kid, it had to be perfect all the way through. If something went wrong, I’d throw away the entire thing. Now, as an adult, I realize I have a tendency to rush through things so I can declare them a failure or a success as soon as possible. Every mistake I make while reading Loomis boils down to rushing through the construction without exposing myself to the possibility of recognizing and correcting my mistakes. Why? Because I’m afraid of them.WTF happened to me?Every stroke terrifies me. I know in my head, that art is all about iterative refinement, and yet my heart is in a constant state of panic.
So what do you guys think? Do you think OP is:1. a mentally-ill weirdo who keeps spamming /ic/ with strange threads?2. Or an LLM AI bot that keeps spamming /ic/ with strange threads?
