When I draw a character's hair now, I generally know how the hairstyle is constructed and how the character would theoretically achieve it.I guess learning about anything more closely helps you draw it better. Using a gun helps you draw guns better, getting into fitness helps you remember all the muscles, etc. So as is often the case, it is beneficial to get interested in the world.

Suits are meant to be comfortable, and come in a large variety of fabrics to suit the season. There's a reason the suit has endured in spite of the relentless casualization of dress and attacks against it specifically - it's fucking stylish as hell, has a variety of expression, and is fun to wear.
