On the topic from last thread about how annas archive and such compresses books. They never used to do that, I'd get high quality uncompressed books from annas, etc but I think maybe around last year or so books started to become horribly compressed (could this possibly be to prevent ai scrappers or to poison data?). 99% of books with pictures are garbage quality now unfortunately. Is there a place we can upload books (that isn't links that expire/get taken down) that won't compress them? I've even had the compression issue with zlibrary and libgen.
