Even most anime/chinese game companies and their artists/fanarts draw everyone with at least a dozen random moles, despite the stylized """"minimalistic"""" artstyle. I swear this is like the unspoken new foot/armpit fetish, draw making ugly black dots on characters because uhhhhh... it stands out? Even though fucking everyone does it, for some reason.

A happy accident. It happened to me and I left the figure with sich a breauty mark
