My LLM is the most fun thing in the room.

I find myself reinstalling and redeleting TikTok more than I’m proud of. Vidya is hard to give up because I’m into gamedev but I avoid online PvP competitive ranked games. Also jerk off less, I sometimes look at ecchi but for references.
Try writing a journal about the things you did for the day. It’s hard to believe in the moment but it does help you draw more.

I lost YEARS of my life to fighting games. The ranked grind is so addictive.
I wouldn’t go back and change my decisions per se, but I am glad to be spending that time on other things now.

>Drawing is more than X
True. Drawing is enjoyable, but it's less enjoyable than tasks that are less productive, like watching tv, or video games, or social media, etc. etc... same can be said for other productive tasks that you may enjoy, like working on your car, or wood working, programming, and so on...
I DO think learning how to will yourself to do things is important, but this is also a good method if you're weak willed.
>>
if you have to go through mental gymnastics to manipulate yourself into doing something maybe you don't really want to do it

Oooh yeah. Fighting games at least do you the service of pinning all your successes and failures on *you*. Team pvp games dilute that hard.
It’s easier to accept the idea of working hard equals pay off over time if you come from a background of labbing combos and MU knowledge. Compared to other games anyways.

Uh do some people actually ENJOY doomscrolling? I always thought it was more like just forcing yourself into a state of mental numbness. Where the hell is the joy in doomscrolling?
>>
It's not boring, it's just less immediately rewarding. Do people not know the difference?
>>
>>8050857
everything is boring. i'm not allowed to do fun things as dictated by normie gods. just sit in my loser corner doing nothing but being a stupid loser
>>
>>8050857
Drawing can be fun if you have motivation... without it ill agree.
>>

Most people doom scroll because it's addicting. It exploits your instincts to search for information that could be dangerous or lead to rewards. They don't actually enjoy it.

idk how a space heater is fun during the summer but ig winter is approaching

that’s a good proposition, op. too bad the only things i do daily that are as overall net entertaining as drawing are online activities.
if i turned off my internet though, i’d really wonder if i’d be ok, because the only people i heavily interact with irl have very unhealthy disorders to be around. y’know…now that i’m typing this out, i’m not sure why exactly i thought this differentiated it from my online social dynamics. lol, oh well. at least we’ve got a mixed culture here in our petri dish. i really came to post
>i really am undisciplined. i should draw more. i should always be drawing more.
