I feel like my skills are stagnating and I've allowed bad habits become my default, is there a daily grind I could do to challenge myself that would help me break out of them and rewire my brain?

A daily goal of e.g.
>one figure daily drawn by first getting the gesture, then construction using correct perspective boxes, then anatomy, then final form shading, then clothes and colors etc
This is what I've been trying lately but I'm not sure if I should just do one figure in one hour, sprint many figures in one hour, spend one day drawing and the next day correcting mistakes of the previous day, use reference or try imagination, do imagination first and then try to correct with reference etc

I feel like everything I tried just reinforced my bad habits so I need something where I can't "cheat" that guarantees positive habits

can you post an example of your daily grind so we can more deliberately give advice?
>>
Also I would describe my main issue as
>try to capture the shape/form/gesture all at once
>it doesn't work all the time and I tell myself I'll fix it later
>"finish" the drawing and it feels off
>spend as much time fixing it
>feel like I learned nothing

I feel like I'm spending way too much time fixing and like it's doing nothing for my skill or understanding

My man, if you think “one figure” is a “daily goal”, like you have to stretch to reach it, it’s no wonder you’re stagnating.
You gotta be banging out way more drawings than that

Capture a silhouette <1 minute. Can be in any pose, either human or animal. Do 3-5 each session, 3-5 sessions each day. Forget coloring, do value. Just black and white. Use simple form objects, box, cylinder, stuffs like that. Kettles and mugs/glasses on a table works wonder. Begin each day doing lines. Like, literal, simple lines. Do a whole page of them. Make the space between each lines consistent. Left to right, then right to left, top bottom, bottom up.

Sounds boring? It is. But remember, Jackie Chan fears a guy who practices 1000 punches, not 1000 guy doing one punch.

I feel like the focus on speed and quantity is what built the bad habits in the first place, I'm talking about dedicating an hour or two every day to the most thorough and accurate figure that I can and not skipping any steps to get out of the rut of thinking I can get by with shortcuts

>hour or two a day is a goal
>why am I stagnating

That's in addition to my daily drawing, looking for the most bad faith interpretation so you can start shit is a symptom of crabism

>noooo you can't answer my questions based on the information I provided, you must imagine the circumstances and act on that instead
okay, retard, how about you tell us what it is you actually do

Get a mentor or do a course where you are actually handing in assignments.

This too.
