How is it that AI can take something I haven't even finished and finish it for me even better? It makes me want to just throw away my pens and just ask AI to do everything. All I wanted was to fix the lines on the mouth/teeth and it made it so much better I wanted to just cry and rip it up. Someone offered me 100 bucks for a framed Luffy sketch and im wondering why I shouldn't just have chatgpt do it all, is there still an allure for handdrawn stuff?
>>8054612How do I emulate the AIs version of my own drawing?
>>8054612you sound cucked. would you have AI fuck your wife too?
ChatGPT, Iām feeling a lil gassy can you pwease rub my big belly for me :3
>>8054625>>8054631digital drawing tools fucked your wife and made you gassy huh saars
>>8054612go 'ack to >>/g/
>>8054612>Why I shouldn't just have chatgpt do it all.(You) should have chatjipiti do it all.> Is there still an allure for handdrawn stuff? Not ones drawn from your hand, no.
>is there still an allure for handdrawn stuffmost artists don't get commissions because they were the first motherfucker available at a reasonable price and the client doesn't give a fuck WHO does it as long as it's done relatively well and within the deadline, they get comms because the client likes them specifically. There are ranges where it happens, typically if you draw for 10 bucks you get bum-rushed by the cheapest bastards and past 300 you're a pro, your client is likely one too and he wants a book cover, Vtuber toggles or something for a project so if you can't do it he'll hire someone else because it's actually important, but for anything inbetween you're getting that gig no matter how cheap the thirdie artists or how good ChatGPT get. Because the other guy is massively autistic. If this was just about money every independant artist would be filipino or indian already like we do for programmers.
>>8054612machines are always better than people at doing things, that's the whole point of a machine. With machines we can live things that are several tons, destroy rocks that our bare hands can't even scratch, and etc etc. The AI didn't "finish" the drawing the same way you would have, it created a whole new drawing that looks close to your drawing because it generates an image using yours as a seed. So nothing actually happened to you.
>>8054612I genuinely don't think the one on the left is more appealing than the one on the right. I guess you could say it's more correct or detailed, but that it compiles all the data from artists who draw teeth and draws it like that. Why not just learn to draw teeth if you like the look of it so much? AI psychosis is what happens when you start to believe in the constructed reality of the bot. As an outsider looking in, the left just looks too clean and devoid of intention.
>>8055169I got my lefts and rights mixed up whoops
>>8055169>>8055171Actually no, I don't want to be nice anymore. Are you so retarded that you can't see how it sucked out all the charm from the original? The bumps on the maw accentuate the expressiom on luffy's face, and then the bot just completely smooths that over so it can look perfectly traced over a 3d model, then it rounds out the outline of the mouth, it can't help but "yassify" the eyebrows, and then because it's unable to convey emotion through simple, clear lines it has to add these fuckass wrinkles on the face. But I guess all that matters in the quality of a drawing is how "correct" it is.
