Recommend me a good facial reference image. I tried to find a good reference artbook on ehentai but i couldnt find a decent one to work with. Anatomy for Sculptures had a nice section detailing the facial muscles but the reference image they showed was minimal.
Disney and other western animated movies have good facial character sheet i used sometimes. But again, it's very minimal like i couldnt find something showing anguish etc.
I can look up movies but i dont know what scenes to look out for.

animation settei. if you want something where anatomy is more explicitly visible look into realism style designs, e.g. the berserk settei.

you and op are avoiding drawing by coping and saying you "lack the right materials"
draw shitty faces until they become less shitty

Any tips on drawing the same character so consistently like this?

Nope, it’s a really advanced skill. I doubt there’s even anyone who can do it on this board.

Been going down the Disney rabbit hole to learn precisely that...

You will want to draw always refer to previous drawings of your character, ideally when working digitally you put them with weak opacity behind your new drawing.

For example, one way to achieve an consistent 3/4th view is to draw the front view, then draw side view on top, and then the 3/4th view as an in-between of the two. You can continue and draw/animate a full 360 head turn in this manner, if you like.

Once you have internalized the construction really well, you throw it away and draw more dynamically from the hip, but you still always referring to your old drawings. Lots of flipping back and forth.

AMB Animation got a few dozens live streams demoing this way. Mostly Disney but also some Anime.

Draw them a lot and use your previous drawings as a reference, and have a character sheet.
