What's /ic/ opinion on Art Craft suite?I'm 100% hyped over having a native foss linux functional 1 to 1 clone of Adobe garbage.Fuck adobe.
No /trad/ for programmers
>>8058571There is an Art Craft suite discussion thread already. It's really a "call each other brown" thread, but it is nominally about your subject.>>8057593
nobody here gives a fuck about adobe not engages with its ecosystem, dumb /g/eet, just use a crack
I hate Adobe as much as the next person but I don't trust AI Bros even more. If it truly turns out to be a FOSS 1:1 copy of Photoshop and whatnot, great. Fantastic. But I'll believe it when I see it.
discord trannies get ignored on twitter so they have to come here
>>8058576Holy shit dude you made me laugh. That is a really accurate description of that thread.
I have been using CS6 for over a decade and don't see myself ever using anything else to draw.
Is photoshop even that good for painting, whenever I see artists shill it it's for stuff like the integration to the rest of the suite, like you can instantly throw the project back and forth between PS, Illustrator and After Effects or instantly edit textures on 3D objects and that's great when you work in the industry, cloud storage to compensate it crashing every ten minutes, the stock photo library or AI support, I never heard anyone say CSP's brush engine was shit, Krita's filters looked like trash because Adobe patented the ones that actually work, or other points related to just drawing shit. Also I'd trust the shady website I got the PS torrent from more than a dude vibecoding shit he doesn't understand, even if he doesn't put crypto miners in there someone else will do it in a pull request along with the liquefy tool and he'll be too retarded to notice.
>>8058610Isn't the code open source? If that's the case then you can literally look up the code right now and see how everything works, no?
>>8058573Wouldn't /trad/ programming be making circuit boards and soldering components?
looks like shit and runs like shit. just pirate photoshop
>>8058738There's a reason that all other programs trying to be industry programs borrow from its UX. It has a suite of tools that are integral to many digital workflows. Though now that AI is being used, I can see Krita becoming mainstream if they can stop being retarded for a second and fix their UX. Krita and Blender bridge easily, these two programs also happen to integrate comfyUI easily. Which means, there is potential for these to start being used in the industry if PS or CSP can't bridge that gap. Before anyone chimes in, stop being a retard for a second and recognize that the industry operates in a way that you will never have to worry about. You can continue to draw manually, nobody is stopping you. However, in this conversation about the industry, there are very different dynamics and needs that must be filled.
>>8058739>Implying the average crab can understand code
>>8058571at one side... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA adobe get fucked... hahahaha at the other ill wait until somebody actually checks the whole code and if it's functional im going to use it.
>>8059511it's a functional half ass cloned, if you use it expecting a 1:1 you're retarded. if you already have experience with adobe tools, you'll immediately realize how trash these clones are. If you want adobe programs that bad just get cracked versions. It's like purposely eating shit to spite the chef you hate rather than just go to the place next door where you get the exact same thing
>>8059537Shalom
>>8059693all ai is made by kikes, nigger
>>8058571This will just result in everything being cloud based so you won't get any code at all.AI keeps ruining everything.
>>8058739im sure the code itself isn't malicious, i'm just very doubtful it'll be a true 1:1 replacement for the creative suite and I doubt it'll be supported for any more than a few months
