>>8060339this isn't two values, every time you make a stroke thats semi transparent on a white background, it becomes a lighter value. >>8060350this basically. so if you're trying to simplify a reference into fewer values, you probably want enough values to have some level of almost detail. the idea is to help you learn how much definition you can get in an object or painting with the bare minimum.silhouette is one thing but it doesn't seem like that's why you made this oneyou have at least 6 values here, make sure you're using a brush thats fully opaque if you really want to do the exercise
