so... when can I start drawing without the grid?
>>
ask the ching chong you got that from, you dumb nigger
>>
>>8064910
thats a really racist thing to say when all I did was ask a question
>>
>>8064906
Just start doing it
>>
>>8064919
but it ends up looking bad

If you reviewed the course material, the grids stop being used about 15 days later.
>>
>>8064928
thank you. 15 days here i come!
>>
>>8064928
it's 24 days actually
>>
>>8064906
>Do all the course material
>accuracy is still bad
how to avoid this?
>>
>>8064906
This is incredibly stupid just like entire technical drawing is... what are you doing this for ?

If you need to measure exactly every single thing in your image you will never train your eye and always have to do drawing like this thus you learn nothing. Stop with this cringe and if you need measuring use your pencil or tool in program if you are doing digital but this nonsense is just hindering every single progress you do specially later when you will have to deal with drawing characters and you won't be able to estimate distances it's going to be whole another pain for you.
>>
>>8064976
I already measure most things without a grid and it comes out bad. Aren't you supposed to measure a lot to train your eye?
>>
>>8064984
yes and no, but don't use grids for fuck sake unless you are learning perspective... but that's different reason too.

You are measuring approximately not really to millimeters exactly because if you are drawing your job is not to be a machine but rather have an idea somewhere in your brain that if my room is this scale then the object im drawing in scale to this room have to be this big etc..
>>
>>8064906
Grids are the worst begtrap out there, op. Just because the course is in chinchong it doesn't mean it's good.
>>
>>8064988
In the leactues they say it intuitively teaches you perspective at the same time... but i dont know. I thought a more structured approach would be better than spamming copies hoping it gets better
>>
>>8064997
one thing if you really want to learn perspective you need to take notebook go outside and draw what you see and observe, sure you can learn something from reference images but it's going to be all too hard. Same with scaling if you simply need to observe proportions of the objects measure it literally take it by your pencil or tablet pen, put your thumb there and mark it down it doesn't need to be perfect and even if you fumble 100 times it will get increasingly better and more comfortable for you to draw.

What are you training is seeing but you can't see on flat screen you need to go out or take shit you have around your house put it somewhere and draw it.
>>
>>8065010
I am just trying to train to not be inaccurate
>>
>>8065014
look there are two things that come to my mind when you say this you either just train to have about right proportions so when you draw something it looks okay... in this case change your learning course or if you want to do technical drawing then measure everything to last millimeter but then you don't wanna be artist but more technician and blueprint drawer.
>>
>>8065021
Yeah im trying to train proportions.

Is the method really finish the outer contours then start the inner details?
>>
>>8064906
Its impossible, everybody traces and lies
>>
>>8065021
Isn't this just Chinese barque plates? Barque plates are great for training your eye.
>>
>>8065083
just the shapes on the left are already pro level so this is pointless
>>
Who the hell draws with a grid
>>
>>8065110
pixel art

how is it pointless? Dont you want to see how a good copy is supposed to look?

You're making assumptions about a single image. You wouldn't say that if you had watched the course (or at least Week 1), but since you have a low IQ, it is easier to just say bs.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
OK BOOMER

If you want someone to take your shit advice, PYFW. I'm sure you're better than Krenz.
>>
>>8065132
Unironically just jump from the bridge with rope tied around your neck... at least it will be quick.
>>
Why is technical drawing cringe?

>>

Krenz is kinda mid unironically. He renders well and has good colors but his drawings skills are mediocre.
>>
>>8065273
nta but is the grid course not worth it if krenz is mid?
>>
>>8065275
Good teachers don't need to draw well.
