genuinely how do I make drawing fun to do? I only picked it up as an adult so I don't have any childhood nostalgia-boosted feelings when I do it, and I'm too much of a perfectionist on myself to just draw something shitty and not care about it being badis there some trick? I find the act of completing art nice, and I think it's cool to see active growth in something I put time into, but I have a hard time deciding if I actually find it "fun", every time I sit down to draw it's always a mental hurdle and I don't know how to stop that, when I see some people talk about drawing they make it seem like it's the greatest thing they can participate in, but for me it's a constant despair session
It's fun because it's like a puzzle game with surgical precision. Plus you can work with colors which is also fun.
it's fun only if you have talent
it's fun but you need to ask for permission to have fun first
