How are pencil anime drawings supposed to look?
like this, you chicken scratching beg
>>8073275dont bully people with permabeg disability. anyways looks unreachable for me, savour it in my place talentgawds
OP’s looks better. Probably a /pro/.
>>8073252why is youre paper so grainy anyway? are you sure it's not watercolor paper? pencil looks so bad on it.
>>8073295I boughted one of these, is there anime style paper good for anime?
>>8073302yes, but i forgot what it's called. google it.
>>8073314ok maybe i just need smooth paper. i think this brand might be popular with the japanese but i saw some other smooth less textured sketch books
I disagree, just draw bigger, the high grain paper gives too much soul to waste, just draw like at least twice as big, drawing big it's also harder so there's that
>>8073492OP is about like half the page and these are about 1/3 and from imagination, too hard to try and draw like 8073275 or holding back an undersketch>drawing big it's also harder so there's thatI know! thats why im holding off until im a little more consistent
check out Atmosphere
>>8073252Okay I'll save these and redraw these except with more detail and with a naked edit in my Drawpile, thanks Kozeki!
>>8073518Np lil bro
>>8073523it's a raid thread.
>>8073484smooth paper will look better but it will also smudge very quickly, especially with graphite
>>8073275What pencil is that?
>>8073252Dude, stop being cringe. Open your threads like a normal person.
>>8073275Okay but how are penise anime drawings supposed to look like??
>>8073579whats a normal person's way to open a thread? "this is my first time using a pencil"?
>>8073531Not a huge issue, I already run into issues smudging so it wont really be that different. >>8073509now those are some nice looking lines
I quit trad for digital some two years ago but this thread is making me want to buy a smooth paper sketchbook to keep in my bag, but I'm also worried about smudging. How do you anons deal with it? Also what pencil hardness works best on smooth paper?
>>8073575HB
goober thread
>>8073589You said that the last time. Maybe not try dogwhislting with your boyfriend for starters. And don't reply back about being a schizo or whatever I'm fully aware of what you're doing and I don't care. Just stop being cringe about it.
>>8073653What are you talking about? Take your meds.
like clockwork
stay in warosu, "lilramune"
>>8073653Retard, my threads get people wanting to draw and I want to learn more about traditional drawing, whats with this obsessive hate boner and boyfriends all about? Ive already gotten some great examples for the thread topic, the more the merrier would be nice.
discord thread
>>8073659these threads make him jealous because his only boyfriend is chatgpt
What have you done for this board other than lower the posts per minute? The only way to get any answers reliably is to make a thread for it now and its all your fault garbage subhuman get out of my thread
take your meds, koekiz
Is this good for undersketching? Its a bit expensive for only 10 pieces huh?
kozeki used to be so goode…now he’s just telo2
>>8073252>>8073500How do you get so good with line quality, without even an underdrawing?
>>8073686I mean i do use a basic lay in its not like im raw dogging for example heres a copy i did where I started with big shapes then added details.
>>8073689What's the end goal of these images? You can't sell them, the characters aren't yours. They live in a sketchbook and to wow other beginners.
>>8073693To learn and apply them to my art? And also hopefully fill up my sketchbook with cute drawings? Who cucks themselves from drawing because it wont make them money?
>>8073509See this artist had an intention with their sketches. And the character's belong to him or the company they work for.
>>8073693what grifter ass mindset is this?
Not to mention it's fun af to draw lmao
>>8073695It's not that it's not making you money, it's more like what is the goal? Filling up a sketchbook with property you don't own isn't a concrete goal. It's a silent flex at best and participating in an echo chamber to keep you from thinking about the next further. I really don't see the point. They're just floating girls doing nothing.
>>8073701I told you the goal already wtf theres no point discussing this with you, we'll just talk past each other
>>8073704You said "apply to your art". That's still vague, and I think you don't even know what your own goal is.> And also hopefully fill up my sketchbook with cute drawings? Yes, intellectual property you don't own "Fan art" of let me guess, more blue archive.>Who cucks themselves from drawing because it wont make them money?I didnt mention money, did I?
>>8073693>>8073701what a retarded mindset
>>8073708Shouldn't you be prompting right now, lil ramune? AI jeets like you will never understand the joy of drawing.
Wtf I literally drew 2 drawings i made up why are you being disingenuous??>sellingSomehow not related to money ok bro
>>8073711I don't understand the joy of making promotional material of other peoples property instead of building your own empire. Has nothing to do with not knowing the "joy of drawing". He gave vague reasons for his practice because he himself has no destination other than receiving accolades in the present moment. I am probably right on the nose when I said "blue archive" being his application of practice to his "own art". The word "own" where he does not "own" blue archive. Anyway I've said my peace, I got important things to do.
>>8073715Ok, go and don't come back.
>>8073715>building your own empirecan you sound any more indian?
But 8073500 isnt blue archive and an atempted application of what im trying to learn dont ignore it
>>8073679always has been
Copying on printer paper definitely has less resistance. Lines are still thick and blunt af
>>8073748what pencil are you using?
>>8073752BIC .7 HB #2 or whatever it says on the side. Picked up a big pack o' these suckers for a couple bucks
>>8073754>mechanical penciluhhh
>>8073755They dont poke holes in my pocket and I dont stab myself... r mecha pencils dekinai?
>>8073526I'm older than you and an ojisan unfortunately. I'm unc status
>>8073759Ojisan have you gotten around to your drawpile redraws yet?
>>8073689I have to try... Still looks hard getting a clean-ish looking sketch.
>>8073763Give it a shot! Its fun!
