EU anons, how often do you actually visit neighboring countries? When was the last time you crossed a border?
>>221785609i go to greece pretty often since i live close
Usually one trip to Estonia for alcohol during the summer. Norway and Sweden occasionally if someone wants me along.
>>2217856092 - 3 times a year in my case.
>>221785609I used to go a couple times a year pre-covid but now I'm a lazy homebody.
In the nordic countries we have this thing called the nordic passport union which predates the schengen by 50 years and is also stronger. So if you visit another nordic country you aren't even really using the schengen treaty
>>221785609Why is Ireland not part of it?From what I've seen they let every migrant in and the country has radically "transformed" in the last 10 years. So it's not like they take border protection seriously anyway.
>>221787382it's because they have a free travel deal with the UK and they won't be able to keep it if they join schengen since the UK isn't in schengen
>>221785609i dont
>>221787312Why are you so fat
>>221787644I'm a big boy who loves to eat food
>>221785609As a kid an teenager I would travel with school and family and friends. But as grown up I don't think I have left the country in more than 10 years.
genuinely not even once except when i crossed the slovakian border on a mountain while hiking
>>221785609I walk across the bridge to Finland 2-3 times per week for my groceries.
>>221787612They should leave it then to join the EU version.
>>221788682binlan has cheaper groceries? wtf
>>221788763No but Prisma has about 100x better sausage, pies, piirakka, beer and bread selection than on our side.
>>221788843vgh...NORTHERN sosig
>>221788843Swedish Walmarts are no good huh?
>>221788881We have Ica Maxi and it fucking sucks in comparison. Overpriced and full of fancy people.
>>221788915Shouldn't overpriced mean good selection? Anyway, CityMarket is the overpriced here but their selection is even fancier and they occasionally sell weird stuff like kangaroo meat or waguy steaks.
>>221788955>Shouldn't overpriced mean good selection? You'd think but nope. The have the same crap every grocery store in Sweden has in stock and their own Ica brand but that's about it. Being a literal stone throw away from Finland you'd think they would stock more Finnish stuff but again, nope. We have snus and candy, you guys got the food.
