EU anons, how often do you actually visit neighboring countries? When was the last time you crossed a border?

In the nordic countries we have this thing called the nordic passport union which predates the schengen by 50 years and is also stronger. So if you visit another nordic country you aren't even really using the schengen treaty

Why is Ireland not part of it?
From what I've seen they let every migrant in and the country has radically "transformed" in the last 10 years.
So it's not like they take border protection seriously anyway.
>>
>>221787382
it's because they have a free travel deal with the UK and they won't be able to keep it if they join schengen since the UK isn't in schengen
>>

i dont

As a kid an teenager I would travel with school and family and friends. But as grown up I don't think I have left the country in more than 10 years.
>>

I walk across the bridge to Finland 2-3 times per week for my groceries.

They should leave it then to join the EU version.

No but Prisma has about 100x better sausage, pies, piirakka, beer and bread selection than on our side.

Shouldn't overpriced mean good selection? Anyway, CityMarket is the overpriced here but their selection is even fancier and they occasionally sell weird stuff like kangaroo meat or waguy steaks.

You'd think but nope. The have the same crap every grocery store in Sweden has in stock and their own Ica brand but that's about it. Being a literal stone throw away from Finland you'd think they would stock more Finnish stuff but again, nope. We have snus and candy, you guys got the food.
