You should still try recycling because it is the only solution.Otherwise the planet will become too contaminated for life, sooner or later.Sure it might not affect us but it will surely affect future generations.I guess if you don't have kids like me then you can pollute as much as you want because the consequences will not affect us.

I know full well that the rubbish isn't kept apart anyway, it's more about domesticating people. Much like when you visit a fast-food place and you see the 'recycling' hatch emptying into the same bin as the 'general waste' one. I hide shit under a layer of cardboard and plastics in the recycling bin, and laugh at the idea of it all going off to be dumped in India. My dad even tried to bollock me for putting rubbish in the food waste bin, because he genuinely thinks it gets used for livestock feed
