Denmark is the only nation in human history to lose the same war twice fighting for both sides.During the 30 Years War Denmark, a Protestant Kingdom, got scared of the success the Habsburg were having and the thought of a unified Catholic HRE, so they intervened on the Protestants side and got their asses kicked, then having to sign a humiliating peace treaty exiting the war.Later, when Sweden joined the war on the Protestants side, Denmark got scared of the success the Swedes were having and the prospect of a dominant Sweden in Northern Europe, and decided to rejoin the war but this time on the Catholics side. Before the Swedes kicked their asses again and they were forced to sign a second humiliating peace treaty to re-exit the war.
