I don't get it. What's the appeal? Do you shop there in your country?
>>221843123It's not in my country.
>>221843123Yes. It is cheaper.
>>221843123It's just cheaper
Cheap, but occasionally has random snacks I've never seen before. Also, the fruits are oddly fresh for a store that is mainly packaged goods.
>>221843123Yes. It's cheaper.
It's like Lidl, but worse and cheaper. Doesn't make sense in Poland, since this price bucket supermarket is already dominated by Biedronka.
>>221845534dont let the Germans get you again
nice
>>221843123It's shitty at least in the statesThe only appeal is if you want to buy a few weird imported snacks. Not sure why people claim it's cheap. I haven't noticed the prices being any different than any other grocery store
>>221843123the one next to my place is cheaper than other stores, I go there to buy knackis and soda
>>221843123i didn't know it was a poorfag store. the entire look of them is very uppity and gentrifier-core
>>221845549Biggest chains are Biedronka (Polish chain, Portuguese owned) and Żabka (corner stores, Polish chains but Western owned afaik by various stakeholders). Lidl is third and Aldi is almost nonexistent.I personally often make shopping in Społem (Polish coop), small bakeries and meat stores. Among foreign supermarkets I like Carrefour the best. Wish I had farmers market closer to my new apartment.
>>221843123its for someone who gives a fuck about variety and just wants to buy the basics for the cheapest price. for most stuff, it's perfectly fine, but for stuff like vegetable and fruits its a no no.
>close by>decent prices>better sweets selection than Lidl>better baked good selection than Lidl>occasionally interesting middle ile items
>>221843123Yeah when my local Super U is closed or that I'm lazy, I just go to Aldi. It's cheap.
