Do corporations vote in elections in your country?
Why would corporations even need to vote? They solidified modern 'democracy' exactly so they can do whatever they want without having to risk change through votes.
>In 2008, the General Assembly amended Fenwick's Charter to provide, in relevant part, what remains today as Section 9A (2-4) (emphasis added):>(2) Non-residents: Every property owner as of March 1 prior to the annual municipal election, whether a natural person or artificial entity, including but not limited to corporations, partnerships, trusts, and limited liability companies, and who is registered to vote, if provided by ordinance, shall have one vote. The town charter explicitly provides them the right to vote, so the judge's decision isn't really that surprising. The plaintiff's argument was literally just "It's evil!!" Maybe, but it's still legal.
