All true, my town is 47C at peak. Lowest at night is still 30C
Most of the upper and middle class owns ACs or at least evaporative coolers and have white collar indoor jobs. The ones who are really fucked are the labourers and people who have outdoor jobs. There's no easy way around it, you have to drink insane amounts of water, often just drench your clothes in water or damp a scarf in water and put it on your head/shoulders to fight the heat. It's insane. Some workplace allow workers to not work around the noon time and instead work later during the day in the evening
Many people put clay pots with water outside their houses for passerbys to take wherever they need (clay pots make the water nice and cold). People also keep thoughts of water for stray animals and bird baths
Worst of all the metrology department says we'll get below average rain this year
