It's sad but true. Most of the trains in Germany nowadays are shit and rarely on time. This interaction feels like being at your lowest, and a friend of your's sees you in your desolate state, thus adding to the embarassment and shame.

On Average, most trains nowadays will only remain at each stop for a minute tops.
