The more Americans joke about us lacking ACs the more I realise how bad an idea ACs are, I keep finding arguments for not installing ACs. And of course you know Americans keep their old folks dying of heat stroke a secret just so they can keep flexing.

>>221874876When I was in NZ, the power company have a scheme where users can pay an 12-months averaged rate per month that is higher in summer but cancels out in winter. This way you don't get sudden spikes in electricity bills.
