Japanese floor cleaners be like

>I learned to clean floors from the great master Miyamooshi and even though I have been cleaning for 20 years, I am still in the process of learning and hope to achieve floor cleaning mastery someday.

That's the dream, do one thing forever and nothing else is expected of you. I will say that this mentality didn't work out so well for unions in the long term. The fact that there's no more switchboard operators, lamp lighters, and even tailor is a dying profession should scare people more than it does.

All of this is only happening due to exploitable poor countries, if there was global unions that would be able to fight against the exploitation of poor people by capitalist jew thugs the world would be much better, if an american and somebody in vietnam was paid the same wage or nearly the same wage, all these dying professions like cobbler, tailor etc would be reborn since corpos would not be able to cheat the system by exploiting poor desperate people.

>inb4 things would be expensive then
Why were they not expensive in the 1950s or the 1940s or the 30s then?
We had factories, tailors, cobblers, small businesses all over doing everything as small as producing nails for example and prices were pretty much the same as today if you compare purchasing power.
Sucks that we will never have this though since people get fearmongered or are just happy that somebody is serving them.

If Kant was right about morality this problem would have resolved itself without a single word ever being spoken about the ceaseless march of Progress. If you could put a mouse in a maze and expect it to enjoy the maze without any cheese then that's purity according to Kant. If you could expect a union to enjoy their work and not expect political power then there would be endless jobs fossilized for no other reason than occupation. That's not the world we live in, they always want power in the end.

>That's not the world we live in, they always want power in the end.
Old medieval guilds managed to do it for centuries, I don't see why modern humans can't do it again.

Are you genuinely retarded? People used to have 2 pair of shoes and you think it was because they were cheap?
>>

My grand dad had a closet full of shoes as did my grandpa growing up and they were middle class.
And all those shoes were actual pure leather and high quality that lasted for years on end.
Now you buy a pair of shoes and they are fucked in a month or two of use and you end up paying more on shoes than your grandparents.
Maybe your grandparents were just poor anon.
Nothing wrong with that.

I work as a cleaner and I take that approach with my job.
I try to master it and treat it as a craft, I take pride in my work.
Most people just try to do it as quickly as possible with little care about the results. Some people care so little that they aren't even afraid of their poor results being flagged, they just don't give a fuck.

My grandpa literally had the only car in town. Now everyone had a car and can even fly across continent for they vacation (back then you at best could travel to the closest sea)

I honestly wouldn't mind doing a job like that if it wasn't so embarrassing. It's an active job so you aren't sitting at a desk for 8 hours and getting fat, plus you can listen to a shit ton of audiobooks and maximize your useless knowledge.
But when I imagine running into someone I know from high school or college and being recognized, I cringe.

thats mostly up to technology not up to the people.
Mass transit only really became affordable for the non rich in the 60s and onwards in the west but anywhere outside the west only in the 90s.
