>their ancient """empires""" were fully destroyed like by 100 drunken spaniards and Portuguese>Nowadays are crime ridden povertyholes easily-manipulated from outside powers (only exception is cuba)Why are they so weak, internationally speaking?
>>221901121Hello saar
Inca empire wasn't ancient, in fact it had jsut been established.Aztec empire wasn't so much an empire as it was a city state with a dozen other city states as subjects who hated them. They also weren't ancient but contemporary.
>>221901121whenever you think about 500 people conquering the incas or aztecsthink about israel and every western countries government
>>221901121>easily-manipulated from outside powersPrecolumbian and colonial, this is a theme

>empiresOur natives were just a bunch of cannibals
>>221901121The Aztec fell because every single native kingdom and tribe around them hated them and allied with the Spanish and even a bunch of the Aztec themselves did. It was more like 24 to 1 with the Aztec not in favor. The Mayans were a united group at all and calling them an empire doesn't make sense. They were multiple kingdoms and city states and they didn't really ever totally fall. The caste wars didn't even end until cars and electricity were already becoming common and the Mayans are still predominant in their territory, even linguistically. They are also weirdly the most aggresively Christian group on the continent.
