Can someone explain all the Eurasian -stan countries to me, please?
so basically they all were about steppes, then get invaded by russians, let russians live in their countries and those get well in education and become gov officials later on also beign russian lab rat for tests then ussr falls, gets independence while moscu says they did nothing wrong and mostly russian desc goes back to moscu. Now half their population grief their lost culture while youth tries to find new ways of life., also most have rich resources so can doing or already doing good economically.

Most of their languages have Persian loanwords because Persian was prestigious in Central Asia hundreds of years ago, but during the Soviet period or earlier, Russian became the lingua franca, so Persian fell off like how Latin eventually became unimportant in Europe.
