Do you think your life could’ve been different if you had made different choices? iyc?
Your life is literally defined by your choices so of course making different ones would change your life. What kind of question is that?
>>221914635What if you made completely different choices and you end up in the same place you are now?I guess another way to put it is do you believe in free will or predetermination?

I know this is a really sad/stupid one given current circumstances but I regret my education. My home life in UK was shite growing up, single mum on benefits, not enough food/heating/showering etc, carrying a knife in house out of fear of mum in early teens and wanting to take own life constantly. At school had no friends, awful social skills, behaviour issues and suspended loads then expelled after 16yo exams with shite grades.I lied about my 16yo grades, went to a new school, finished with all A* grades (top 1%). Never applied to any top unis because no confidence, guidance etc. I still went to a good one but even at Oxford my grades would have been above average and of course it requires way more natural ability to achieve them under these conditions. Obviously I don't know if I'd have gone to a top uni or not but I wish I could have gone through 0-18 normally and actually applied. As an adult I'm doing off the charts well, millionaire, £500k post tax income in late twenties, medical doctor, dating another doctor, friends, hobbies, average or better social skills etc but I'm still a little bitter about that period just cause it was so unfair. And even at uni was a total freak until 25 because I missed out on all the normal social development people get.Flag is Jersey, CI, the premier tax haven for UK born people.
