I have been unemployed for 8 months and can confirm it sucks. I am in my 30s and my wife is the breadwinner. She doesn't give me a hard time, but it sucks not contributing. The best of both worlds is having a 30-40 hour a week comfy job with nice co-workers. Being a NEET is incredibly depressing and boring as you get older, and being a wage slave is infuriating.
