>>221922883the only people that are similar to pakistanis are (obviously) punjabis, the jatts that that originated in sindh and live in great number in haryana and some other random tribes/castes along the border area, even in next door gujarat (which is not south india) people have significantly more ancien ancestral south indian ancestry.anyway it's not exactly difficult to believe the two populations would be different considering pakistan is essentially the indus river valley which is separated by the thar desert and little and great ranns from the rest of the indo-gangetic plain and only joins up with it at the northern tip in punjab and that india is way bigger and there's no reason for people in lahore to look the same as people in kolkata or chennai when that distance is basically like denmark and turkey.
