My 60 year old dad decided to tattoo my name on his hand. He is an alcoholic who divorced my mum at 2 and left to another country at 15. I can sympathize because I have made mistakes and don't have great mental fortitude, but I don't really want the same dramas for my family/children. I also find it is draining on my mental health and makes me anxious dealing with him, likely because he was so unstable and prone to outbursts growing up. Honestly I wish he would grow up, but I know he won't. Then again, I wish I didn't have undue anxiety but I doubt it will ever go away
