I tried, but I gave up; it's very difficult, it depends on the area. Picrel could be a lower-middle-class house in the middle of nowhere, or it could be a house for upper-class people in the center of a major city.

I've seen people live in very small spaces, in properties that aren't very new, and pay a lot of money for it, and people live in very large houses and plots of land, but in areas where there's almost no civilization.

You could buy this property for only 308k, but it's in the middle of nowhere.

Or you could buy this shithole, which is in one of the most central and fastest-growing areas in the entire country, for 1.2M. By this point, nobody will own property in Mexico City anymore; only rental apartments will be available.

It is generally very hard to generalize here but location is more important than the actual housing type. The poorest type of housing is some kind of Kadar cube in a small village far from a city or any place with economic activity. The houses located right next to road or train tracks tend to be in a lot worse shape, in my experience this applies universally no matter where you are in the country. Apartments have all this of people living in them, whether it is a wealthy or poor area depends on the location not just the actual housing type. Wealthy people tend to live in single family homes, usually towards the edge of the city or in the suburbs.

>location is more important than the actual housing type
I guess it's everywhere, but still, some places were built for proletarians and others for upper middle classes.
>>
>>222041446
It mostly depends on where you live, it can be quite cheap if you have no problems driving 2 hours in each direction to work
>>
>>222047740
Well in Hungary everyone privatized whatever place they were living in so this does not apply nearly as much. In Budapest you can find retired people living in a 400K EUR house with very modest income.
There are housing projects that were exclusively built for working class people then there were commie housing projects that were more "elite". The actual housing is kind of similar, there can be differences in density but it is mostly about location and inhabitants, the actual housing type is quite similar

The commie block project you can see on close on the right was considered one of the best in the city among the planned gommieblocks. Close to a park, close to metro, lot of trees in-between and also it was inhabited by decent people. The one way in the back, marked with the red was notorious for all sorts of crime and it was considered a gypsy ghetto. Nowadays it is not as bad they say although I would rather avoid it still. So housing here is mostly about location and the people who inhibit it
>>
>>222048109
I see.
In France it's not only location based.

To be fair, they were built a lot closer to each other. Even among gommieblocks some were a lot better than others

The most hyped commie block project in the country is probably this. It also got its "popularity" from a horrible Hungarian sitcom. But it is considered the most expensive one because it is surrounded by a really wealthy area. The actual block is very dense and they are not even renovated actually. But it is mostly about location and inhabitants here

They are basically the same thing as the Projects you have in the Youesaey though
>>
>>222048568
Projects definitely look a lot nicer though. probably bigger too
>>
>>222048652
could be, some of the commieblock apartments are grimola.
Americans as far as I am aware don't consider living room a "room", so a "2 room apartment" in a commie block is actually 1 living room + bedroom.
>>
>>222040791
The 'poor' house there is shared by multiple families? Because it looks better than the lower middle class one imho
