Do they still find WWII bombs iyc?
>>222045586Usually a grenade etc that someone's grandpa has hidden. Not something that size.We weren't bombed by planes that much comparatively thoughbeit. And the Soviet air force attacking Helsinki at the very end of the war was not impressive even with some land-lease planes. Just not their focus in doctrine. Their general that later came to inspect the "destruction" was pretty baffled at the lack of damage.Really in WW2 only if it involved Germie, Nip, Bong, or Unitedstatian air force was the damage big enough that everything got destroyed and buried well enough for someone to miss a bomb like that. Barring some outliers.
No, but the air bases and aircraft factory sites the government closed or abandoned keep leaking stuff into groundwater
>>222045586I thought you said tombs
>>222045586looks british
>>222045586Whenever a world war 2 bomb is found here they strap a boomer on it before the controlled detonation
>>222045586Yes.
>>222045586No, I've hidden them too well
>>222049609how can you even still walk with all those bombs you shoved up your ass
>>222049668because he actually shoved them up the asses of unsuspecting citizens
>>222045586Even today, unexploded ordnance from U.S. air raids is discovered several times a year, and the surrounding area is cordoned off while recovery and disposal operations are carried out.
>>222045586Yes just some month ago a fiasko occurred:>guy finds russian bomb in a field>puts in a visible spot and calls police>police never show up>bomb disappears>a MONTH and a HALF later someone calls the police that they found a bomb in a field>police come and check it out but don't do anything immediately>the patrol has to leave on an urgent mission>while they are gone some random guy comes and picks up the bomb>police return, bomb gone>police pleads to the public to return the bomb>after a day or two, the random man brings the bomb to the original site>the police call the defence forces to dispose of the bomb>the bomb was found twice over the course of a month and a half and picked up by at least 2-3 members of the public before the police got rid of it.
