After Disney finished shooting at the train station Star Wars set, the government abandoned it and now locals walk through it making tiktoks in the costumes Disney left behind. The Algerian government is now nationalizing all the costumes and intends to sell them in a private auction later this year. This caused several human rights violations as soldiers went door to door stealing the costumes back.

This begs the question, why hasn't France built a trans-african railroad through Algeria? They could make it like Las Vegas and put all their airplanes and nuclear waste there.

side note: Algeria uses American trains because French built trains cannot survive the heat. The two green locomotives pictured here used to run by my house
