What is your country's subreddit like?How does it compare to your local online culture?
We don't have a subreddit we just post about ourselves in all the other ones and euros and thirdies can't do anything about it. However being reddit our main export is soy.
Reddit is smarter than 4chan, but I don't like how easy it is to get banned.
It's pretty boring and tepid like most of redditMost interesting thing that happened recently was the city red tagged and shut down an old diner and a bunch of redditors whined and setup a gofundme then two days later the building collapsed and they all looked dumb

Havent looked it up in years but i remember it being a circlejerk of super smug "individuals" who think they know everything best. Goes for any german subreddit too, german redditors are particularly unlikeable

Any niche interest you could think of seemed to be represented, and many of them were so popular that they'd have dozens or hundreds of fresh posts each day. It was also an amazing place to find amateur porn, especially between 2020 and mid-2023 when Covid shut most of the planet down and women were desperate for money, starved of attention and happy to show off their bodies.I absolutely loved it for about 2 years, but then I started getting banned from political subs for the stupidest perceived slights and it was infuriating. That made sense when it turned out that pretty much the whole site was moderated by about ten people, several of whom were transsexuals. The format changes over the last two years, the removal of the DM option and their efforts to satisfy the UK government's draconian 'Online Safety Act' have made it so unusable that I don't think I'll ever be back on there.

Got my two ancient accounts suspended some years ago and I still occasionally glance it every now and then. Main sub is a literal cesspool of leftists, muslim immigrants and the occasional based Spaniard + right-wing latinx shitting on the first two (before getting permabanned).There's another sub that's less echo chambery and you have a distribution that resembles a bit more the actual country (still skewed left bc it's reddit) but at least mods don't ban so you do see tons of shitting on the left and muslims
