Why is there not a single Japanese song produced in Japan that is only in Japanese?
They always say some words in English, why? Is it because they think their culture is not good enough or cool enough and a product based only in Japanese culture is bound to fail? What causes this kind of hatred towards one's own homeland?

There was a trend in the 80s where using Japanese lyrics in rock was considered cringe. I'm not sure why but I guess it was just another national autism

Language based nationalism is so gay. Languages are all going the way of the dinosaur. English is going to be all that's left. And not proper "Queen's English" like English with a bit of this and that from the global community lah

Try to google a Chinese song without wanting to die in the process and then try the same with a Japanese one that has (predictably) an English title.

Basically, traditional style songs that boomer like to listen are only in Japanese (ex 演歌)
Younger generation singers intend to prefer to use English in their lylic.
This is a thing since my childhood 90s at least.
It doesn’t come up much, but I think everyone’s aware of it

It's not the language autism is going to increase with tech being the intermediary and the death of socialism. The idea of English being the universal language was scrapped, all relevant languages use the same system of grammar and can be parsed through LLMs. The amount of language preservation the US has committed to far outstrips its efforts to teach English. The US even pushed to revive absolutely useless languages in countries that already spoke English like the Philippines. It was EU socialists that originally wanted to spread English globally even brits weren't that psychotic.
