I would give up 25 years of my life to find a love like this, but I doubt it's even real. I think both widows and widowers remaining alone for the rest of their lives after their spouse's death is exceptionally rare. Some bitter cunt will try to pathologize it, but I think some people are genetically far more inclined to monogamy than others. Humanity is still evolving physically and mentally.
