Do you like European bread or Arab bread in your country?
>>222076148is that a cake? European bread looks like this
>>222076148Arab bread
>>222076148It's not really a "European bread". There are many types of bread. And I don't even know if other Slavs do the same bread as on the pic. Here we call it кapaвaй (karavai). It's usually made on some celebrations. It can be smaller, it can be bigger.>>222076206It's not a cake.
>>222078552Looks like a kind of decorated brioche. What's the texture like ?
>>222076148right looks better
>>222078562Soft, fluffy white bread. However rye variants exist too.
>>222076148yeah I like European bread or Arab bread
>>222078637Based autist
>>222078642what
>>222078662Because the OP clearly meant an exclusive or but you interpreted it as a logical or
European
>>222078669there is no need to fall for false dichotomies you see

>>222078617Definitely sounds like pic. How do you guys eat it? Do you put something on top, dip it in coffee, milk.. ?
>>222079024Idk much. I've probably seen one only in childhood. It's used mostly for marriage celebrations nowadays and more like just a tradition thing.Probably just tear the pieces of it and eat with tea.
>>222078552We also make them, hell you can pretty much buy them in every bakery.
I like french breadThe rest of europe can't into bread or into food at all for all I careExcept for the latin countries perhaps, anyway I'm tired of pretending otherwise.
>>222079024this is not a bread, this is a pastryunc's put butter on a slice of it and it's usually eaten with coffee.nordic version of tea timehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coffee_in_Sweden#Fika
>>222076148I like what we call french bread, but it's not actually french, so I'm unsure.
>>222079243french bakeries mog russian ones so much>>222079381yes
>>222078637Kek what is this comment?
>>222079465thanks to sanctions due illegal invasion ukrainia russians barely even have bread these days xDDD
>>222076148bread is not worth the years of healthspan you'll lose to it
>>222079504If you ever had good pâté flavoured with armagnac on a freshly baked bread you wouldn't say that.
>>222079504humanity has been eating bread for thousands of years what are you saying
Not a bread fan but I go for Georgian pypo bread once in a while
>>222079548humanity has been doing all kinds of stupid shit for thousands of years
>>222079024sugar over brioche? its already plenty sweet
>>222079494they have it, france just mogs everyone by quality of bakeries
>>222079465Not really, Russian bakeries have more variety, when in french it's just "hon hon hon fried puff pastry in butter"
>>222081781>more varietyvariety of slop
>>222078957does wonder bread contains the pan in the wrap? seems awfully wasteful
we also have flatbread?
>>222081781>russian bakeries are better than french bakeries>serbian flag
>>222078562Like homemade bread, kinda dry. It's not sweet like brioche. You could compare it to a galette des rois however, in that there's sometimes a hidden coin in it. I've seen orthodox Serbs eat it in January and they pass it around and kiss the loaf one by one. I find it quite disgusting
>>222076148arab bread is used for doner here so it's pretty good
Actually scandinavians have flat bread for example Flatbrød and Knekkebrød
>>222076148There is no bread in this picture
>>222076148Thats Indian bread, Arab bread like that would be thinner and used to cover rice or wrap shawarma. For normal bread we have pita and kaaek, and I would forgo any other kind of bread to eat kaaek for the rest of my life.
>>222081781>Russian bakeries have more variety, when in french it's just "hon hon hon fried puff pastry in butter"
European bread mainly, but also arab when making doner.
>>222078957wonderbread is peak slop
both look pretty good and serve different uses
>>222081793Cope frog
>>222076148Norwegians literally make and eat the bread on the right
>>222078672This kind of bread, newly baked with butter, salami and cheese is the king of lunch
