>譬如明淨眼 因日覩衆色Just as bright, pure eyes through the sun then see all forms,>淨心亦復然 佛力見如來The purified mind is just the same, through the Buddha's power seeing the Tathagata>如以精進力 能盡海源底As with strength of vigor, one may penetrate to the ocean's lowest source,>智力亦如是 得見無量佛The power of wisdom is also thus, attaining vision of immeasurable Buddhas>譬如良沃田 所種必滋長Just as in good, fertile fields, how what is planted there is sure to grow,>如是淨心地 出生諸佛法So too does the ground of the purified mind generate all Buddha Dharmas>如人獲寶藏 永離貧窮苦As how a man, acquiring a storehouse of treasure, forever distances himself from the suffering of poverty,>菩薩得佛法 離垢心清淨The Bodhisattva, in acquiring the Buddha Dharma, distances himself from defilement and purifies the mind>譬如伽陀藥 能消一切毒Just as the Agada elixir may banish all poisons,>佛法亦如是 滅諸煩惱患So too does the Buddha Dharma vanquish all affliction of defilement>眞實善知識 如來所稱讃True good spiritual guides are praised by the Tathagata,>以彼威神故 得聞諸佛法For through this divine power is one able to hear the Dharma of the Buddhas>設於無數劫 財寶施於佛Supposing that even for innumerable aeons, with treasures and wealth one gave charity to the Buddhas,>不知佛實相 此亦不名施Without knowing the Buddha's true outward form, this cannot then be called charity>無量衆色相 莊嚴於佛身Immeasurable outward signs of many forms adorn the body of the Buddha,>非於色相中 而能見於佛But it is not in form-based signs that one is able to see the Buddha>如來等正覺 寂然恒不動The Tathagata, rightly and equanimously enlightened, is quiescent, forever without movement,>而能普現身 遍滿十方界And yet He is able to everywhere manifest His body, pervading the worlds of the ten directions>譬如虚空界 不生亦不滅Just as the realm of empty space is uncreated and also undestroyed,>諸佛法如是 畢竟無生滅The Dharma of all Buddhas is also thus, ultimately without creation or destruction

Who could manifest His utmost superiority?>一切法皆如 諸佛境亦然All phenomena are naught but suchness, and so too are the states of all Buddhas;>乃至無一法 如中有生滅There is not even one single phenomenon which in suchness is created or destroyed>衆生妄分別 是佛是世界Beings, in their delusion, discriminate that "this is the Buddha" or "this is the world,">了達法性者 無佛無世界But for those who have penetrated into the nature of phenomena, there is no Buddha, nor is there a world>如來普現前 令衆生信喜The Tathagata manifests Himself everywhere, causing beings to experience faith and joy,>佛體不可得 彼亦無所見But the substance of the Buddha may not be grasped, and neither is there anything that these beings behold>若能於世間 遠離一切著If one is able, within the world, to distance himself from all attachment,>無礙心歡喜 於法得開悟This unimpeded mind will be overjoyed, and attain enlightenment within the Dharma>神力之所現 即此説名佛What is manifested by His divine powers, we then speak of as being the Buddha,>三世一切時 求悉無所有But in all times of the three ages, we seeking find that nothing at all exists>若能如是知 心意及諸法Should any be able to thus know the thoughts of the mind, and all phenomena,>一切悉知見 疾得成如來They will know and see all, and swiftly be able to become Tathagatas>言語中顯示 一切佛自在It is through language that we represent the sovereign masteries of all Buddhas,>正覺超語言 假以語言説But Their True Enlightenment transcends all language, and only provisionally are They spoken of in words
