if you could learn one Slavic language, what would it be?
>>222227313russian, of course
>>222227313Probably polish or czech
>>222227313i don't want to learn any slavic language
>>222227313polish
>>222227313Russian. All other Slavic languages are irrelevant. Plus there are a ton of russkies here and I often go to their grocery store.
>>222227313Stop posting that useless porn actress
Russian is realistically the only one you can have any use of
>>222228813russian is the most irrelevant asian language
>>222227313Ukrainian
>>222227313if i had the time i wanted to learn interslavic

>>222227313>>222229225This girl only reads slop, her IQ must be under 60
>>222230888well she is 1) polish and 2) a woman, so...
>>222227313Ukrainian, I heard that it also allows u to learn ever
Russian definitely Learning any other would be like learning romanian instead of Spanish. If you know Spanish all the other romance languages click into place easily Same idea with Russian. All the other Slavic languages are clearly just derivations of Russian
>>222230966>All the other Slavic languages are clearly just derivations of Russianhow american of you
>>222230982Sorry truth hurts Janusz Lebowski
>>222231002>truthit's just your mental retardation
>>222230966All slavic languages are derivations of each other. Every slav language sounds like a retarded dyslexic drunken cousin of each other.
>>222227313Russian
>>222227313Finnish
>>222231053>Every slav language sounds like a retarded dyslexic drunken cousin of each other.it is spoopy how much of any given slavic language I understand I'll give you thathttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NztgXMLwv4A
>>222231053Russian is the grand pappy no matter how much it makes you seethe it's the truth
>>222231198it's not true though, you are just a monolingual retard with no clue about anything
>>222231151I love interslavic. It's 99% understandable. Even the amerifat can understand nothing and call it russian.
>>222231198russian is far from the oldest known slavic language, john from ohio oblast
>>222231198the grand pappy is the theoretical Proto-Slavic language which was spoken like 1500 years ago. Russian isn't the originator of the others, they're all cousins of each other. Russian just had the most powerful state and became most widespread
>>222231198just how fat, dumb and brown are you to spew out such nonsense?
>>222231269No not really Russian was the first. It's kind of like how Latin is the ancestor of all romance language That proto slavic language was most similar to Russian And it was spread by the ancestors of RussiansTherefore all slavic languages are basically versions of Russian
>>222231333either bait or 60 IQ mental retardation
>>222231357Ili je kreten, jebem ga debilnog u pizdu.
>>222231357Old Church Slavonic is most similar to Russian
>>222231427where did old church slavonic come from?
>>222231544>flaghere we go again...there, i will post this one for you
>>222231544From the ancestors of ethnic Russians even if they didn't live in Russia at the time
>>222230966I can't understand a damn thing Romanians write, let alone what they're saying. These languages aren't nearly as similar as you're making them out to be.Anyway, it doesn't really matter where you start. Since they're related and share a lot of structural features, learning one will make the next one easier. You could begin with Ukrainian and then pick up Russian, or start with Italian and later move on to Spanish or Romanian.
>>222231582>I can't understand a damn thing Romanians write, let alone what they're saying. Can you make out the meaning in writing, like what the sentence(s) are about?
>>222231645Not really. The vocabulary is too different, and the diacritics don't help since I have no idea what they represent. I can recognize the occasional word, but most of the language is unrecognizable to me. Listening to their music, I'd probably guess it was a Slavic language. Apparently Italians can understand it fairly well.
>>222231775to be fair romanian is a weird mix of conflicting influences as in it's a romance language but has a ton of influences from surrounding slav (and to some extent ugric) languages
>>222227313her sister is way hotter

Anything but Russian if people might think I learned it recently, since they might think I'm a Vatnik.
>>222231579Mongolia?
I'd rather do it in a realistic way where I can talk to people irl with it and I'll go by the weird area I live in:>Poles can sort of randomly spawn anywhere for a while, even right near me>there's a Czech boomer enclave about half an hour away from me>there are a good amount of Serbs about a bit more than an hour away>no idea where the rest could be but maybe Russians in one of the nearest big citiesWhat do?
>>222237197nothingonly learn useless languages if it means you will hit
>>222230888women only read slop
>>222231053truuuuuuuue
>>222237197Serbian or Russian. If you don't want to learn Cyrillic right away, go with Serbian (you'll still need to learn Cyrillic because it's a digraphic language). If Cyrillic is a problem, then you can learn the Croatian standard (same language, but it's written only in Latin) or learn Czech.I don't recommend Polish, it's hard to learn even for Slavic speakers.
Serbocroatian because I understand czechs and zlovaks
>>222227313Serbian, of course.
>>222228744POV: white boys

>>222227313Russian for the literature
>>222242242zuza
The most irrelevant, tiny, archaic, complicated one so l can be a special snowflake
>>222243676Preferably extinct forgot to add
>>222227313Russian because it's spoken in the most populous Slavic country and many other former USSR countries like Kazakhstan. I would also gain familiarity with other East Slavic languages like Ukrainian and Rusyn (I know some people with Rusyn ancestry here). With that, besides Polish, all other Slavic languages would be somewhat familiar. Czech and Slovak already have similarities with Slovene and our dialects and other South Slavic languages are just a mix of more turko-arabic and Orthodox-Slavic words like in Russian.I wanted to say Slovenian because I'm the first in my paternal lineage that doesn't speak it but it's not that hard if you know Croatian and even easier if you're familiar with our Chakavian and Kajkavian dialects like I am. Plus it's a small meme language and not useful if you don't plan to work in or interact with Slovenes.
>>222227313Czech because the orthography is easier to deal with.
>>222227313Croatian or Montenegrin. I tried both but I'm terrible at them.
>>222239649you can learn cyrillic in 20 minutes, how can it even be a problem? if you cant memorize 33 letters then you surely cant learn an entire language no matter what
