This is the fundamental mechanism of gender and sexuality, men give and women receive, men approach and women get approached, men fuck and women get fucked. Every circusmstance is then understood to be thrust upon women by men, shich is generally more true than the opposite but the issue arises with emancipation, women are now supposed to be independent and have agency, but they still subconciously perceive themselves through the lens of the fundamental dichtomy, and society also still largely treats them with this in mind, which leads to the lack of accountability while they're still afforded agency, which leads to the social power imbalance that is endemic of our times. True equality is not attainable because women are much more socially priviliged than men, and this can't be corrected with quotas or laws, so by giving women a leveled economic and legal playing field men become universally marginalized.
