do americans eat this
>>222253879Some people eat it here too
>>222253879No, it's always on the store shelf but no one buys it or eats it. big psyop
>>222253931Same, it needs to be there. Edible enough if you happen to buy it.
>>222253972Is it tasty?
>>222253994Just tastes like ham, like what you'd put on a sandwich, except not thinly sliced, iirc.
>>222253879I eat that. Both at home and while out camping/fishing.
>>222254043Right look like something only a slav could eat
>>222254088A lot of our cuisine is kind peasantish already. Not as a thing against Slavs. More a commonality.
>>222254088Normal good food. Cheap as well.
>>222254140But it's not just peasant food but also soviet style highly processed peasant food
>>222254202Works in war, as we say here. I don't even remember it being that bad though.
>>222254088I'm Slavic and my country is much better at preparing potatoes than Scandinavians
>>222254202>highly processed Wanna know the most giga-Swedish food in existence that has been part of our diet since the 1500's? Falukorv. Everyone eats it, rich and poor and have for centuries.
>>222254321Anything but boiled here is when you're having a fancy dinner
>>222254218>Works in war, as we say heretrue, but them why would you eat it outside of hard times>>222254321the potatoes ain't the problem tho
>>222253879the ultimate goyslop
>>222254374Perfectly edible. Feel like most people are really like this.
>>222254043timmy food
>>222254478but them why not get a normal piece of meat instead of mystery meat that is 80% bones and feathers, and a potato salad that is actually 80% mayonnaise
>>222254555I don't analyze it that deep. Not paranoid about food overall, though I know it's a thing among zoomers now.
>>222254345I only know it due to matgeek spam
>>222253931I buy it and eat it
>>222253879I’m pretty sure only Hawaiians and Koreans eat that. I’ve never tried it
>>222254043>>222254088not a speck of herb or pepper, that's a quintessential nordic looking food
>>222254088Nah, looks too clean. Not enouhg oil/grease
>>222253879I have a sister that likes making spam musabi. They taste ok.
>>222254043Skandislop
>>222254673>herb
>>222255055that's unironically first time I've ever seen potatoes with dill posted from nordi-bruh is that a fucking straight raw chopped onion what the hell is wrong with you people
>>222254043Would eat.
>>222255186Raw red onion is delicious. My family used to eat it with raw ground beef on rye bread in the summer. Are you sure you're really Polish?
>>222255186Dill is extremely important in Swedish cooking. I honestly thought it was a Swedish only herb when I was a kid.
>>222255186stop putting dill on boiled potatoes and pretending that's good enough
>>222255262well you see, there's nothing wrong with raw onion if its used as a garnish or a background ingredient for salads and sadwiches and such, but not as a whole side dish
>>222253879When I was 11-12 years old I would fry slices of it and eat on bread with mustard. A can of spam was actually inexpensive back then. These days it's about $4.50/can so no longer worth it. It's common in Hawaii, look up Spam musubi. I find it gross to eat right from the can btw, needs to be fried
>>222253879I sometimes eat spam straight from the can.
>>222253879This is a food only the top 5% can afford here
>>222253879If this was the only "meat" available, I'd just be vegetarian.
>>222253879My dad and grandpa made it with breakfast sometimes as a kid. I like it desu.
>>222253879scotty kirk eats this raw with his hands in between swigs of mountain dew
>>222253879Hawaiians love this shit
>>222255186just be glad that they are not raiding you and me for human flesh anymore
>>222258503they only raided you THOUGH, we were on friendly terms with them
Spam was designed to be cheap shelf-stable meat that dirt poor people without a fridge in the Great Depression could have. After our economy started picking up enough for everyone to have a fridge, we dumped it off on our WW2 allies, Hawaiians who don't want to pay shipping costs for fresh meat, and people we were occupying in Asia. They're the only ones who still eat it.
>>222253879I ate that once and I'll never do it againIt's like an ultra salty meat sponge
>>222253879It's the only meat Hawaiians can eat.
>>222253879only hawaiians and filipino diaspora
>>222254043Based
>>222253879i don't like it. too salty and processed. pacific islanders love it, though.
>>222255379No
Sometimes. I often cut it into pieces and throw it in a pan for a minute or two then throw it in the ricecooker with rice and veggies if I want a lazy meal. Bonus points for just tossing an entire whole tomato in that bitch and mixing it all up when it's done.
Spam omelettes are a guilty pleasure of mine.
>>222255186>Poles don't know what a side dish is
It's cheaper to buy actual meat than this which is insane.Eating meat in general is not doable as the population keeps increasing.
>>222253879You people literally make Tulip luncheon meat. Which is basically the same thing. Are you a brown immigrant or something?
>>222254043>kokt
