All the racist posts aside, these are the actual reasons.There is misogyny and violence against women in reservations, prompting them to leave to other towns, where they face even more exploitation and sex trafficking. Police outside the rez doesn't care about them. Tribal police are underfunded and understaffed. This means missing persons reports don't yield anything.You all will hate me because of my flag, but I worked as a linguist in and around the Mohawk community of Akwesasne when I was a grad student in NY. That's why I am sympathetic towards them. There is more violence towards native women outside the reservations than inside them.
