Do you guys think they didn't realize that algae would grow again? Do you think anyone who has been to a pool wouldn't know there would need to be chemicals needed to stop algae growth? Even as they were building it back in the 1920's, the architects knew the filtration system, design, and location, were going to be problematic. The main thing they need to fix is the filtration system, which is what Obama updated, but it needs further work. Trump did absolutely nothing with the filtration system, he simply had the crew seal some cracks, paint and coat. And not just that, but dark paint, which promotes algae blooms. Anyone with an even surface level of understanding of pool maintenance is not surprised at any of this.
