They cook with fermented corn meal in Ghana. I made it myself because it looked easy. It tasted great. But then I looked into it further and it's one of the most dangerous ferments you can do. Can give you incurable poisoning and an agonising death. Indogs have the same problem with coconuts.

I have tried to make injera instead but it's harder. My African adventures end here for now.
