On my job, almost everyone who isn't Central Asian is a Ukranian for some reason. I've been working here less than a month and can't bear the accent anymore.

Zigger magnet thread, but my impression is Ukrainian is like Russian with a more Italian pronunciation, but I might be retarded

I can't tell them apart but and I'm slavic. But also, I never cared to listen.
>>
>>222387426
Very possible I'm imagining things then, but gotten the idea it's a bit "rounder"

I'm not saying you're wrong. I just didn't notice. Also in Poland Ukrainians talk to me in Polish so I actually don't hear Ukrainian that much. Also I'm never sure if they're speaking Russian or Ukrainian when they talk to each other.

Norwegian vs. Danish is a bit of a blur in writing, so I get the feel

And they talk so much. I used to think that russians are really talkative bunch, but those guys are talking like they would die on the spot if they ever stop talking.

Yeah I had a few ukrainian coworkers like that. One was really friendly but talked constantly and was giving me a headache. Constantly starting some stupid subject. I was nice to him and was trying to be responsive cause he was much younger, to me practically a kid, and maybe he was feeling lonely being a refugee in a foreign capital, but it was draining.
